Home buyers pay the exact same price for a home regardless of whether they use a real estate agent or not.
Who pays you?
The seller pays us for finding a buyer for the property. Our payment is in the form of a commission based on the final sale price of the property. The commission is usually split equally between the listing agent and the selling agent. We in turn give a portion of our commission back to the buyer with a gift card or a reduction of our commission at closing.
Real estate commissions can vary from 6-8%. Normally 3% goes to the agent that brings the buyer and the remainder to the agent who has listed the property.
